En 2009, en el metálico festival de Wacken, Running Wild ponía fin a su carrera musical, con un concierto cuyo setlist estaba compuesto por las canciones que a través de su página web votó la gente. Las canciones fueron las siguientes:

Desde mi punto de vista, es una elección en la que sobran unas cuantas canciones (Bad to the bone, Prisioners of our time, Purgatory, Draw the Line, Branded and Exiled) y faltan algunas de mis preferidas (Black Wings of Death, Mr. Deadhead, Renegade, Evilution, Running Blood, Marooned, March On, Fight The Fire Of Hate, Powder & Iron, Masquerade, Lions of the sea...el disco The Rivalry enterito y alguna más, jajaja!).
Hace unos meses se ve que Ralf Kasparek ha recapacitado y ha anunciado nuevo disco para 2012: Shadowmaker.
Mientras quedo a la espera, ahí va un clásico: Riding The Storm!
